We bought these puppets for our granddaughter's birthday. Although the puppets are larger than her others, she is able to operate them fine. Her little brother(2) also manages to use them. We loved that they are multicultural and so does she. So far they have held up well. It is amazing the different ways the kids find to use them.

These puppets are realistic and fun. They are ideal for teaching social skills and to help shy children feel more comfortable around adults. For the attention seeking child, these are a great positive outlet for this need, since there are many puppets to go around (I believe there are 12) and they are inexpensive to buy, which is especially important for educators just starting out. This is one I would definitely recommend to anyone interested in a fun, educational toy that supports creativity and does not have many small parts, a rarity with all the electronic toys so often offered in stores these days...

I ordered the Happy Kids puppets, the 8 piece set. I ordered these for my granddaughters 7th birthday party. I made a stage out of a large TV box , hung up curtains and had a puppet show for all the kids... They loved it, my granddaughter thought it was awesome and has puppet shows when ever she comes to the house. All the kids said it was the most awesome party that they had been to. The puppet show was a hit, these puppets are durable and colorful and alot of fun...

I chose these puppets because you get a lot of them for the price, and having three little girls I wanted to make sure that they all could have a girl and boy puppet to play with so there would be no arguing. Knowing what company they were coming from, I didn't set my standards too high for them, and I was right in doing so. The puppets hair are very sparse and the fabric is thin, but my children and their friends do not notice this, they are not old enough to be aware of quality made vs. the latter. They are very happy playing with them, and that's all that matters to me! As far as durability goes, I'm not sure. We've only had them for a couple of months. Some hair has pulled out, so we had to talk about being gentle with them. So I guess it depends on how rough the child is playing with them and how often they will be used. Either way, I think it's a great set for the price which can be used in a household or classroom.
